Museums
Rennes is packed full of museums: the Musée des Beaux Arts and its unmissable collection of paintings and sculptures (including masterpieces by Rubens, De La Tour, Caillebotte, Gauguin, and De Staël), the Musée de Bretagne at the Champs Libres, which runs you through the history of Brittany and runs frequent temporary exhibitions, and the Ecomusée du Pays de Rennes – a life-sized farm turned wildlife conservatory.
