Rennes’ most recent park stretches over six hectares and is arranged into a series of terraces. This garden, created by the landscaping firm HYL (Hannetel, Yver and Laforge) and the artist David Boeno, was designed to illustrate the sun’s path and to reflect the beauty of natural light. Featuring old hedgerows and an orchard walk to the south, this park offers views over Rennes and is also home to the monumental art installation L’alignement du XXI siècle (“The 21st century standing stones”), designed by artist Aurélie Nemours and inaugurated in 2006.
